Golf Club Bad Ragaz
The 18-hole PGA Championship Course at the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz offers everything that golf enthusiasts could possibly desire. Here beginners and professionals alike find a very special challenge. The 5700 m-long symbiosis of golf and the natural world - slope 125, course rating 70.1 - was laid
out by Don Harradine for all types of play as a flat golf course which combines all the beauties of nature. Many a golfing ace succumbs to the special charm of this course, with its exceptional
standard of care, the unspoiled park setting with firs, birches and pines, the natural water hazards and the impressive mountain backdrop. It is no coincidence that the PGA Seniors Tour is already making its 12th visit to Bad Ragaz, from 8 to 10 August 2008. The golf course is always among
the top courses in Switzerland; moreover, the course has once again been included in the Peugeot Golf Guide to the 1000 best golf courses in Europe. Since 1 January 2007, the Golf Club Bad Ragaz has also been a member of the Leading Golf Courses association for quality and value. Admission to the Leading Golf Courses association fills us with pride and expresses the premier position of the 18-hole PGA
Championship Course in Bad Ragaz. This was also confirmed by the German Golf Course Association: the Golf Club Bad Ragaz was the only golf course in Switzerland to be awarded 5 stars. The first tee and eighteenth green are situated directly next to the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz. As a hotel guest you
benefit from a reduction in green fees and reserved tee-off times. The driving range, laid out on two levels with covered tees, a pitching and chipping green, and also the putting green round off the splendid playing enjoyment. Indoor facilities with a Mastergolf Swing Analyser can be used throughout the year, whatever the weather. Experienced PGA golf instructors are available to help you. Whether a beginner, advanced player or professional, you are in the very best hands and will be introduced to, or assisted in, the game of golf and looked after with great sensitivity (customary dress code).

The 9-hole Executive Course constructed to a design by renowned golf course architect Peter Harradine borders the Bad Ragaz Golf Club?s long-established 18-hole championship course. Nestling
in flat countryside with lush green meadows, this 3,638-metre course (par 62) provides a gentle introduction to the fascination of this wonderful sport, even for golf newcomers with a playing
proficiency certificate. And for experts, too, the Executive Course offers ideal playing and practice opportunities. Charming natural habitats, a stream,
Club house and Golf Bistro
The Club House is situated in the centre of the practice ground - next to the 1st tee and 9th green - with a view over the putting green and driving range. In addition to the golf club secreatry?s office
and changing rooms, it also houses a well-stocked golf shop and the tastefully furnished Golf Bistro. The menu includes an extensive choice of snacks, salads and light dishes. And on summer days, you can bask in the sun on the large terrace with its fabulous panoramic view of the mountains.
